This page explains, in plain language, what Rise Up Loans Now is, how we make money, and what that means for the information you read here. We'd rather over-explain this than have you wonder.
What we are
Rise Up Loans Now is a loan connection service — sometimes called a lead generator or loan marketplace. When you submit a request, we pass it to a network of participating lenders, and lenders decide whether to make you an offer. We are not a lender: we do not make loans, set rates, approve or decline applications, or service any loan. Every offer, rate, fee, and credit decision comes from the lender presenting it, governed by that lender's policies and your state's laws.
How we're paid
Participating lenders pay Rise Up Loans for connections — typically a fee when a request is delivered to them or results in a loan. Borrowers never pay us anything. There is no fee to submit a request, no fee to receive offers, and no fee to decline them. This lender-paid model is how the service stays free to you, and it is the standard structure for loan connection services.
What that compensation does — and doesn't — affect
Compensation can affect which lenders participate in the network and, in some cases, the order in which requests are matched. It does not change the terms a lender offers you — those come from the lender's underwriting of your profile — and it does not buy placement in our editorial guides. Our lender comparison page deliberately covers companies outside our network, including ones that pay us nothing, because context is the point. Reviews on the reviews page are collected from borrowers after completed requests, matched or not, and are never paid for.
About the numbers on this site
Every rate, payment, and cost figure on this site is an estimate for illustration — drawn from typical market ranges and standard loan math — not an offer, a quote, or a guarantee. Your actual terms come only from a lender's written offer. Loan amounts run from $500 to $5,000; APR, fees, and repayment terms vary by lender, applicant profile, and state. Representative examples, where shown, are labeled as such. Personal loans are a serious commitment: borrow only what you can repay on schedule, and read every agreement before signing.
